VENTORMENTA is a band from Mexico City (CDMX), formed in 2012 in search of a fresh sound, with a constant experimentation of rhythms of rock, jazz, funk, punk, disco, electronic, experimental, etc. With a style that fills expectations, you will find the sound that the band wanted to give their music. With influences like The Mars Volta, Vulfpeck, !!!, LCD Soundsystem, AC/DC, Frank Zappa, Nine Inch Nails, The Rapture, Blondie, Daft Punk, Tortoise, Cassius, Pixies, XTC, Stereolab, David Bowie, Metallica, INXS, Who Made Who, The Clash, Midnight Juggernauts, The Sea And Cake, Junior Boys, Zoot Woman and many more bands.

Some critics and others musicians classify it as electronic rock, because of the type of music it has, which is a mixture of rock with beats for dance, old synthesizers and analogues, disco breaks and much more for the dance floor having fun, the lyrics are dark, turned on and with good pace.

VENTORMENTA is an original concept and a band with a lot of future, since the people who have listened to them, enjoy their songs and are invited to move into the rhythm of the music. Live shows are explosive and energetic!

Currently, VENTORMENTA is composed by: Mario Várguez (synthesizers, bass, programming, vocals), Aletz Franco (drums, percussions), Felipe Rodríguez (guitars, chorus) and José Riaza (bass, chorus).

With these members, it is a matter of transmitting the intensity and the softness of some rolls, which can be very funny when you dance with them, since the rhythms invites you to enjoy and have a good time.

VENTORMENTA has gone through several stages such as: El Imperial, Multiforo 246, SubUrbano, Festival Ajusco 2013, Pasagüero, Aloha Bar, LIFA CDMX 2018, Festival Atlixcandalo, as well as concerts, parties and events in other states and provinces in Mexico.
